The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) has formulated a comprehensive research agenda to guide its research activities from 2018/19 to 2027/28. This agenda is structured to address key societal challenges and support Tanzania’s transition to an industrial economy through strategic development in various research areas. It emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, rigorous data collection methods, and ethical research practices to ensure impactful research outcomes.
The agenda highlights the importance of research ethics, focusing on intellectual property rights, honesty, environmental protection, and capacity building.
