The College Principal, who is assisted by Deputy Principal, is responsible for the academic and administration of the college through a college board, which is answerable to the University SENATE and Council.

or a candidate to be awarded a MSc in Applied Science of Materials (Coursework and Dissertation), he/she must earn a minimum of 180 credits of which a minimum of 120 credits are from coursework and 60 credits from the dissertation. Students will be compelled to do a minimum of 60 credits per semester.
An applicant must hold a first degree of the University of Dar es Salaam or an equivalent degree from a recognized university. An applicant holding a Pass degree can be admitted provided she/he has an overall grade of B or higher in Chemistry at the Undergraduate level.
This is a four years degree programme with one year for coursework and three years for dissertation. A candidate to be awarded a PhD, he/she must earn a minimum of 600 credits of which a minimum of 200 credits are from coursework and 400 credits from the dissertation.
